do you see what i see

Here's another guessing game for you.  Do you know what these are for??  Because we needed more than one set these are the ones in the downstairs bathroom.

And this is the one in the children's bathroom.
I had to come up with something to hold all of the hair flowers and bows that my girls have.  These were so simple to make and I love them.  I went to a local craft store and purchased some of those wooden cutouts, ribbon, and velcro.  Yep...that's how they are hanging on the wall good old velcro!

Once I started putting all of the bows on I decided that Saige and Michelle do not need any more for now!

HA! I knew EXACTLY what it was before you showed what it was! I have some experience with those! So handy and so smart to use velcro!

That is such a great idea, RaeLynn! Way to create! I love it! I've been meaning to ask you...how did your garage sale go? I hope it was a success!

Hey... Quick question. Where did you get all your flowers? I keep looking but cant find them. The only ones i find have stems. Do you use those and just somehow remove the stem? Lemme know your secrets!

Oh Jana...what are we going to do with you? The flowers that I use are the ones with stems. I simply remove all of the middle of the flower and replace it with a brad or button or jewel or whatever looks good. The brads are nice because they hold everything together! Have fun and try not to get too carried away!

I would love to know how you make all those flower hair clips. I have been wanting to make them for Morgan and for Cali when she gets more hair. I would greatly appreciate it!

Here is the deal on the flowers. To make them I simply pick out a bunch of flowers that I like (usually at Joann's), and yes they do have the stems on them! I pluck off the stems and insert a scrapbooking brad (this holds all the layers together nicely). Then I attach a clip via hot glue. I get the clips at Sally's Beauty Supply.
