Walworth Family
My good friend Camie is a fellow photographer. In fact...she has helped me out tremendously with my business. I am so grateful for all of her help and encouragement. Tonight I took pictures of her beautiful family and she took pictures of our family. (I can't wait to see them!)
Here are some of my favorites so far!

A sad day at the Durham home.
We just received a phone call from the veterinarian's office stating that our dog, Synder, passed away last night in his sleep. Lonnie took him in on Friday because he wasn't acting like himself. They basically said that he was severely dehydrated and that they needed to run blood work on him. They thought that he either had tick fever, which has nothing to do with ticks, or a liver/kidney problem. We received a call yesterday stating that he was doing much better...he went for a walk and he was eating again. So needless to say we weren't expecting a call like we received this morning.
Synder was our first dog. We have had him ever since we got our first home about 7 years ago. He always amazed us with how well behaved he was with each child that came into our home. He was so gentle and kind towards them and protected them. Every time we had a new baby he would sleep right next to the crib. We are so thankful for his sweet little spirit and for the joy he brought to our family. We love you and will miss you Synder!

#90...Done!
Last night Michelle, my dad, and I all went to the PHS homecoming game. I have to admit it was so lame. There were three fumbles in the the first half. The score was like 28 to 6 by half time. The presentation of the homecoming king and queen were horrendous. It was like a second grader planned it...actually a second grader would have done a much better job. It was nice to get out and see good old Peoria High again. Although, I do wish the game was a little more interesting.

The Dreaded Curlers!
I love little Ms. Saige's hair! It has this beautiful wave to it. This is probably because my hair is dead straight! Anyhow...on Saturday night I thought that it might be fun to see how curly her hair would get by Sunday morning. Well, needless to say they didn't last until bedtime. Her hair was so curly!
(don't judge the pictures...not one has been edited besides editing is SO overrated!)
She looks like a little granny!
Mason just had to get in one picture!
Okay...I think she's done with the curlers!

Another Post!
While I was photographing the three little monkeys that can actually jump...this is what little Gage was doing. I love his expression and how the binkie is upside down. Before anyone asks yes I do have clothes for my children! :)
This next picture is my perfect explanation of why I am often times so overwhelmed! Need I say more?

Four Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed!
I had a difficult time choosing the children's Halloween costumes this year. So...I decided to do the four little monkeys!
Ever since I bought the costumes I have been wanting to capture them jumping on the bed! I knew that Lonnie would freak out if he saw his bed like this so we did it tonight while he is enjoying his concert!
Have a fun and safe Halloween!!

Scary Election Times
I read this on my friend's blog and it definitely makes you think. I know that we all have our own different opinions and I myself have not done the research on this...but I must say that I have always thought that Obama may have some terrorist ties. Anyhow you can read on if you would like.
This is well worth reading. You can confirm the authenticity by googling the references. To all my friends, this is long, but very important, please take the time to read it.
This election has me very worried! So many things to consider. About a year ago I would have voted for Obama. I have changed my mind three times since then. I watch all the news channels, jumping from one to another. I must say this drives my husband crazy. But, I feel if you view MSNBC, CNN, and Fox News, you might get some middle ground to work with.
About six months ago, I started thinking "where did the money come from for Obama?" I have four daughters who went to college, and we were middle class, and money was tight. We (including my girls) worked hard and there were lots of student loans.
I started looking into Obama's life. Around 1979 Obama started college at Occidental in California. He is very open about his two years at Occidental, he tried all kinds of drugs and was wasting his time but, even though he had a brilliant mind, did not apply himself to his studies. "Barry" (that was the name he used all his life) during this time had two roommates, Muhammad Hasan Chandoo and Wahid Hamid, both from Pakistan.
During the summer of 1981, after his second year in college, he made a "round the world" trip, stopping to see his mother in Indonesia, next Hyderabad in India, three weeks in Karachi, Pakistan where he stayed with his roommate's family, then off to Africa to visit his father's family. My question: Where did he get the money for this trip? Nether I, nor any one of my children would have had money for a trip like this when they were in college.
When he came back he started school at Columbia University in New York. It is at this time he wants everyone to call him Barack - not Barry. Do you know what the tuition is at Columbia? It's not cheap to say the least! Where did he get money for tuition? Student Loans? Maybe.
After Columbia, he went to Chicago to work as a Community Organizer for $12,000 a year. Why Chicago? Why not New York? He was already living in New York. By "chance" he met Antoino "Tony" Rezko, born in Aleppo Syria, and a real estate developer in Chicago. Rezko has been convicted of fraud and bribery this year. Rezko, was named "Entrepreneur of the Decade" by the Arab-American Business and Professional Association.
About two years later, Obama entered Harvard Law School. Do you have any idea what tuition is for Harvard Law School? Where did he get the money for Law School? More student loans?
After Law School, he went back to Chicago. Rezko offered him a job, which he turned down. But, he did take a job with Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland. Guess what? They represented "Rezar" which is Rezko's firm.
Rezko was one of Obama's first major financial contributors when he ran for office in Chicago. In 2003, Rezko threw an early fundraiser for Obama which Chicago Tribune reporter David Mendelland claims was instrumental in providing Obama with "seed money" for his U.S. Senate race.
In 2005, Obama purchased a new home in Kenwoood District of Chicago for $1.65 million (less than asking price). With ALL those student loans (?), where did he get the money for the property? On the same day, Rezko's wife, Rita, purchased the adjoining empty lot for full price. The London Times reported that Nadhmi Auchi, an Iraqi-born billionaire, loaned Rezko $3.5 million three weeks before Obama's new home was purchased. Obama met Nadhmi Auchi many times with Rezko.
Now, we have Obama running for President. Valerie Jarrett, was Michele Obama's boss. She is now Obama's chief advisor and he does not make any major decisions without talking to her first. Where was Jarrett born? Ready for this? Shiraz, Iran! Do we see a pattern here? Or am I going crazy?
On May 10, 2008, The Times reported Robert Malley, advisor to Obama was "sacked" after the press found out he was having regular contacts with "Hamas", which controls Gaza and is connected with Iran. This past week, buried in the back part of the papers, Iraqi newspapers reported that during Obama's visit to Iraq, he asked their leaders to do nothing about the war until after he is elected, and he will "Take care of things."
Oh, and by the way, remember the college roommates that were born in Pakistan? They are in charge of all those "small" internet campaign contributions for Obama. Where is that money coming from? The poor and middle class in this country? Or, could it be from the Middle East?
And the final bit of news.
On September 7, 2008, The Washington Times posted a verbal slip that was made on "This Week" with George Stephanapoulos. Obama on talking about his religion said, "My Muslim faith." When questioned, he "made a mistake." Some mistake!
All of the above information I got on line. If you would like to check it - Wikipedia, encyclopedia, Barack Obama; Tony Rezko; Valerie Jarrett: Daily Times - Obama visited Pakistan in 1981; The Washington Times - September 7, 2008; The Times May 10, 2008.
Now the BIG question - If I found out all this information on my own, why haven't all of our "intelligent" members of the press been reporting this?"
So, this information makes me scared to death that this man has been groomed for some time to garner the admiration and support of Americans everywhere and then be voted into office of the most powerful position on Earth. I pray it certainly does NOT happen! Go vote McCain! (I'm not keen on him either, but I feel better about him than Obama.)

Scavenger Hunt...for Lonnie?!
Our daddy has been working really hard lately. So today while he was sleeping me and the kiddos set up a little scavenger hunt for him around our house. See if you can figure it out.
Envelope #1: You will find clue number one hidden in a very popular place in our home. Often times we go there to retrieve a fresh diaper and wipes.
Clue #1: Nothing Else Matters
Envelope #2: You will find clue number two hidden in a very sacred place in our home. We go to this place numerous times a day to get snacks!
Clue #2: Sad But True
Envelope #3: You will find clue number three hidden in a place we all hate to go. Some of us even cry/whine insisting that we already went there do to our business.
Clue #3: Mama Said
Envelope #4: You will find clue number four hidden in a room that never quite seems to stay clean. Although...it is meant to be a fun filled room!
Clue #4: Master of Puppets
Envelope #5: Lastly, you will find your last clue and possibly your gift hidden in a place that we like to gather around to feed our faces in. (Little Gage had the last envelope!)
Clue #5: "Metallica"
If you are a fan you've probably guessed it by now what Lonnie's gift was. He really has been mentioning how awesome it would be to go to the Metallica concert. So...we got him 2 tickets. Mommy's not going...Uncle Brent will be going with him.
I am so proud of Lonnie and the things that he has accomplished recently. He is an amazing father and I don't think that anyone else could love me as much as he does. He always is so kind and loving...even to someone who is not that easy to live with all of the time. He is always so good about letting mommy get out and have a break from the kiddos...but never takes time out for himself. So I wanted to give him something that I know he will enjoy and give him a little bonding time with his brother.
We love our daddy!

Tagged
So, one of my good friends Michelle tagged me! This is fun. You go to your photos and choose the fourth file and then the fourth picture in that file. Well...this is the one that it happened to be.
This is a picture of Mason when we first got him. It is always so humbling to look at pictures of this little guy's beginning in this world. He truly is a fighter. He was so frail and fragile. I remember my mom was so scared to hold him. I'll admit it when the workers left I was a little overwhelmed. I was scared that I might mess something up. What if his heart monitor went off in the night, or his oxygen ran out, or his pulse ox went off? Well to make a long story short he obviously is doing just fine. The only problems we really ever had was him always pulling out the oxygen and finding some way to take off the pulse ox. Thanks for the tag Michelle.
So...now I tag Claudia, April, Katie, and Jenni. Have fun!

Hermana Moffitt
As many of you know my sister, Kristen, is serving her mission in Paraguay! She's been out almost a year...I cannot believe it. She is doing wonderful and it is such a blessing to have her serving the Lord! She is growing so much. It has been a neat experience for our family. Anyhow, she asked me to go take some pictures of her plaque at her church house. Here they are! We love you Aunt Kiki (aka Hermana Moffitt).
While Mom's Blogging
Random Photos
Just in case you haven't noticed...I'm a little bit behind on editing and posting some family photos. I have been really busy editing others photos so I thought that I needed to focus on my family this afternoon.
I love this picture of Mason and Michelle! She is so into the hug and Mason is just too cool for it all!
Awe...he's learning to like the hugs!
Happy Baby Gage!

Summer Fun
We try to spend as much time as we can at Grandma and Grandpa Moffitt's pool during the summer. It is so refreshing! Mason is in a completely different world and is so calm in the pool. Michelle and Saige also love the freedom they have to explore. This was Gage's first summer and he too seemed to enjoy the water. This was one of the rare days that Daddy got to go swimming with us! It is always so much more fun when the whole family gets to go! Thanks for all of the fun memories Grandma and Grandpa! We love you and appreciate all of your help!
Gage's First Sucker
As a little reward we occasionally give our children a small sucker. On August 30th we decided that Gage was old enough to finally have one. He LOVED it! Mom and dad are hesitant to give him one as he was so darn sticky. Right before bath time is usually when they get them! Here's to your sucker buddy!
